Even when I was a rookie, I was the named a Rising Star, the fastest rising rookie wrestler at the time. I joined the halls of WXW and quickly found success winning singles gold. Then the tag team championships followed here and in another company. And it all went higher from there.” A video plays showing Martha’s matches in WXW, AWS, and HCW. Her tag team matches with Rachel as the Pride are included there as well. She grins widely at the highlights and nods. “There are still plenty of championships I haven’t lost to this day. And pretty soon, I get to compete for the Goddess Championship, the same championship that my mentor Veronica Rodriguez made famous. You don’t realize how important this championship means to me. Vero is my cousin-in-law. So this championship has deeply rooted meaning for me. It’s not just another championship to me. It’s a family rooted legacy.” An image of the Goddess Championship is shown on the screen. Then videos air of Vero’s matches for the Goddess Championship. Then it cuts back to Martha nodding in agreement. “And then you have the third part of this alliance, Rachel Storm. She is a legend in her own right holding every championship this company has to offer for the most part. And that adds to the meaning of it. Out of the three members of the Pride, I’m the one that’s left to accomplish more. My partners are already very well decorated. Now I get the chance to step up and win my first big championship. The Goddess Championship, which is treated like a world championship. Can you imagine how good my rise in this business has been?” She pauses to show her former reign as the now known Next Level Championship, but back then it was the Combat title. “From winning a low tier championship, and three sets of tag team championships to now potentially winning the Goddess Championship? That’s a lot of progress from a once rising star rookie. And the tank is not even close to being empty quite yet. I look forward to building more of a legacy here soon. And it all starts with this.
