Asylum Wrestling Society Unleashes the Future with “AWS Proving Ground” — A Grit-Fueled Competition Series Redefining the Path to Glory

Syracuse, NY – [May 20, 2025] – The Asylum Wrestling Society (AWS), known worldwide for its unrelenting edge and unpredictable chaos, is proud to announce the launch of AWS Proving Ground — a new competition-based series where only the strong survive and the next generation of AWS rises from the ashes.

Taking inspiration from real-world fight camp series like The Ultimate Fighter, AWS Proving Ground strips away the glitz and exposes the raw, unfiltered journey of 16 rising talents—8 men and 8 women—as they fight for survival, relevance, and immortality. The format is brutal; the rules are simple: Win and stay. Lose and go home.

> "This is where reputations are forged in blood, sweat, and sacrifice,” said AWS CEO and Founder Charlie Feigel. “Proving Ground isn’t about legends—it’s about those who want to be legends. This is their shot."

Each week two competitors square off in high stakes matches with careers on the line. There are no second chances, no safety nets. The winners advance. The losers disappear.

At the end of this unforgiving single-elimination gauntlet, one male and one female competitor will emerge as the inaugural AWS Proving Ground Champions, walking away with custom championship belts—and a guaranteed shot at stardom within the AWS main roster.

• Single-Elimination Tournament

• Bi-Weekly Matches – Winner Stays, Loser Leaves

• Filmed on Location at the Syracuse Sports Arena in Syracuse, New York

• Hosted by AWS Commentary Team: Yasmine Araujo, Amanda Sabine, and Michael “MJ” Russo

• Finalists Crowned as AWS Proving Ground Champions

AWS Proving Ground places a spotlight on AWS' deepest pool of untapped and underutilized talent—secondary characters and newcomers ready to claw their way to the top. Expect breakout performances, shocking upsets, and a relentless showcase of hunger and ambition.
