The crowd’s reaction is mixed as #1 Daron Smythe steps into the frame, dressed in his custom tracksuit with the UltraViolent Championship slung over his shoulder. His signature smug grin is on full display, but there’s an undeniable intensity in his eyes. He adjusts the title before casually placing a hand on it.

LAURA: Daron, last week, you suffered your first loss in AWS at the hands of Eric Herrera. Tonight, you step into the ring against another former champion in Ethan Murphy. How are you feeling going into this match?

Daron scoffs, running a hand through his hair before shaking his head.

DARON: Laura, let’s get something straight right now. That match against Eric Herrera? That was not some grand victory for him. He’s been walking around like he just conquered Mount Everest, acting like he’s some untouchable legend. But the reality is, the man admitted he had to cheat to beat me. He knows it. I know it. And deep down, all these people know it too.

The crowd gives a mixed reaction, with some booing and others acknowledging the truth in his words. Daron smirks, shaking his head as if the whole situation amuses him.

DARON: And yet, Eric’s still out here, parading around with his old UltraViolent Championship, clinging to past glory like a washed-up has-been. The way he’s holding onto that belt, you’d think he actually has a shot at regaining it. Newsflash, Eric – you don’t.

Daron pauses for a moment, adjusting the UltraViolent Championship on his shoulder before pointing at it.

DARON: This right here? This is mine. Just like the UWL World Title was mine. Just like the HRW World Title was mine. Just like the AWS Asylum, then Elite, and now UltraViolent Championships were all mine. And just like the ECWF Heavyweight Championship was mine.

He lets those accolades sink in, the confidence dripping from his voice.

DARON: I don’t need to carry around a relic of my past to remind people what I’ve done. I let my work speak for itself. My legacy is ever-growing. And in case Eric, Ethan Murphy, or anyone else forgot… this year, I’ve proven time and time again that I am the most dominant force in all of professional wrestling.

Laura nods, keeping the conversation on track.

LAURA: Well, tonight your focus is on Ethan Murphy—

DARON:: (interrupting) Exactly. Tonight is about Ethan Murphy. I know his reputation. He’s a former champion. He’s tough, he’s experienced, and I respect that. But Ethan, tonight you’re stepping into the ring with the man who is rewriting history every single week. You are just the next name, the next opponent, the next stepping stone on my path to further greatness.

Daron leans in slightly, his voice lowering to emphasize his point.

DARON: And once I’m done with Ethan? Then, Eric… your little victory lap is over. You may have pulled a fast one last time, but next time, I won’t just beat you… I’ll humiliate you. I’m walking out with the TKW Global Championship, adding another title to my collection, and once again proving what I’ve said since day one… I am the #1 man in this business.

Daron straightens up, giving Laura a knowing smirk before patting the UltraViolent Championship one more time. Without another word, he turns and walks off, leaving Laura to close the segment.
