It is with regret that we announce "Mayhem" Roger Williams has suffered an injury during a closed-door training session earlier this week. Medical personnel have confirmed the injury is significant enough to rule him out of competition for the AWS Legacy Championship Death Match Gauntlet scheduled for the 25th Anniversary of Monday Night Ward.

AWS medical staff and officials have been in constant contact with Williams and his camp, and while the specifics of the injury are being kept private out of respect, we can confirm that "Mayhem" will not be medically cleared in time for this Monday's historic event at the legendary 2300 Arena in Philadelphia.

AWS Founder & CEO Charlie Feigel has promised a major announcement regarding a replacement entrant during this weekend’s episode of AWS: Before the Bell.
