Website Exclusive: Adam Stryker announces his arrival to AWS

Featured Replies

Camera takes us to a backstage area to AWS’ newest signing Adam Stryker. Clad in jeans and a black henley, hands in his pockets, he’s resting on the locker room wall. Muffled sounds in the background reveal the newest episode of Tuesday Night Ward is currently taking place. Stryker stares down the camera for several seconds before finally speaking.

ADAM STRYKER:

I knew you wouldn’t believe it before you saw it with your own eyes. But it’s true. You’re not seeing a ghost.

He chuckles dryly and folds his arms across his chest

ADAM STRYKER:

When AWS announced my arrival, people were surprised to say the very least. Why would Adam Stryker come out of retirement after all those years? He has a family, three kids, that’s already more responsibility than a regular modern man can handle. He has a successful company and still runs his pro-wrestling school. Why would he decide that now is the right time to lace up the boots again? Well, the students at my Stryke Dojo actually played a huge part in it. Seeing the new generation of wrestlers flying around the ring actually woke me up. It made me realize how tired I am.

Stryker’s expression hardens as he locks the camera in a cold, merciless stare.

ADAM STRYKER:

Tired of everything wrestling has become in my absence. Tired of where the new generation took it. Tired of the business being obsessed with pleasing the marks who are constantly bitching about it on social media, even though they can barely afford the cheap seats at the shows. Or fit into them, for that matter!

He scoffs.

ADAM STRYKER:

I don’t want to sound like a bitter old man, but hell, maybe I am: Wrestling just ain’t what it used to be, and what it SHOULD be!

Adam takes a step towards the camera, his voice lowering.

ADAM STRYKER:

Training all these entitled young assholes showed me I can not only still hang with them, I am still better every last one of them. It reminded me that years ago, I set the standard, I set the bar and none of the people who came after were able to clear it.

He points directly at the lens.

ADAM STRYKER:

Adam Stryker came back to show everyone what a real man, a real wrestler, and a real champion looks like. In 2026, I will take you back to the good ol’days. I will be a champion in Asylum Wrestling Society. And I don’t care how many of you punks I’ll have to put through the mat to do it.

Stryker shoves the camera aside and storms off as the shot cuts back to ringside.
