The house lights come back up and standing in the center of the stage, holding a single finger high in the air, is #1 Daron Smythe.  Smythe looks out at the crowd, some holding up their own version of the single finger salute, as he saunters down the aisle towards the ring, confidently keeping that finger in the air as he steps through the rope and climbs to the second rope in one corner of the ring.

The #1 and Done - A fisherman suplex with a unique twist.  Upon hitting the canvas, Smythe twists over into a small package/inside cradle type position, locking his legs around the free leg of the opponent for extra leverage.

The Superkick - Sure, in 2022, the Superkick is not what it once was.  However, Smythe's mastery of the technique is so strong that he only uses it at the right time, when the opponent has been sufficiently worn down.

Brief Biography: Smythe, born and raised in the small town of Wheeling, West Virginia, broke out in the local independent scene in the late 90s and early 2000s, focusing on the Pittsburgh area wrestling circuit.  It was heavily rumored in 2008/2009 that Smythe was on the verge of signing a contract to compete for then TNA Wrestling (now IMPACT Wrestling).  Suddenly and mysteriously, Smythe disappeared altogether from professional wrestling.  Videos and promos have appeared on social media of Smythe attempting to make a comeback - what is he looking to accomplish?  Why did he disappear for so long?  Does he still have what it takes to make it in wrestling?  At 39 years old, he signed a contract with the UWL and after a year of competing, won the UWL World Television and UWL World Championships.  Smythe is now in his second reign as UWL World Champion.  UWL nearly shut down, causing Smythe to sign with the ECWF, where he quickly captured the Horror Core and Midwest Championships.  With a rumored AWS/ECWF relationship in the works, Smythe has been offered an AWS contract by ownership.  Can Smythe ascend the rankings of AWS like he did in UWL and ECWF or will the Asylum prove too difficult for this veteran superstar?
