GENERAL RULES
1. Originality First:
AWS thrives on creativity. All characters must be original creations. No use of real-world wrestlers, celebrities, or copyrighted personas.
2. Application Policy:
All handlers must submit a completed singles application before creating any tag teams or factions. Incomplete or missing applications will result in the character being ineligible for booking or championships until resolved.
3. Respect & Conduct:
Zero tolerance for racism, sexism, homophobia, transphobia, ableism, or any form of hate speech, slurs, or intolerance. This includes messages, images, or behavior in-character or out-of-character.
4. Communication Expectations:
Keep all interactions professional. Staff and members deserve basic respect. If you have a concern, use private channels to discuss it constructively. Doing so on any platform—forums, chat, Discord, Facebook, X/Twitter—will result in disciplinary action up to dismissal.
5. No-Show Policy (Three Strike Rule):
Failure to participate in three (3) events without prior notice or reasonable excuse will result in removal from the roster. Repeat offenders may face permanent suspension from AWS programming.
6. Privacy & Public Drama:
Match outcomes, win/loss discussions, and scoring disputes are not to be aired publicly. Doing so on any platform—forums, chat, Discord, Facebook, X/Twitter—will result in disciplinary action up to dismissal.
7. No Fourth Wall Breaking:
Do not reference OOC material in character promos or use handler-related info against your opponent unless explicitly agreed upon in advance. Keep it in-universe.
8. Picture Base & Visual Content Policy:
Picture bases are acceptable only within applications and promos. For official media (banners, match graphics, champion shots), AWS uses AI-generated visuals to maintain a unified aesthetic and avoid copyright issues.
PROMO RULES
1. Personal Boundaries:
Never include another handler’s real-life identity, likeness, or property in a promo without explicit consent. Violators will be penalized or banned.
2. Promo Participation:
Each handler is expected to promo at least once per TV or premium event cycle to remain active. Ghosting events will reflect poorly on future booking.
3. Originality Clause:
All promos must be original work. Plagiarism or recycling content from outside sources is grounds for immediate disqualification and potential ban.
4. Promo Judgment:
The best promo wins. In the event of a tie, a majority staff vote will determine the final result.
CHAMPIONSHIP CLAUSES & RESPONSIBILITIES
1. 90-Day Defense Rule:
All AWS championships must be defended at least once every 90 days. Inactivity or refusal to defend may lead to the title being vacated.
2. Championship Forfeiture:
If a champion departs AWS—voluntarily or otherwise—before fulfilling their title obligations, the title is automatically vacated and a new contender will be determined.
3. Championship Conduct:
Champions are expected to carry themselves as representatives of the brand. That means consistent participation, timely promos, and professional behavior. Slack off, and you lose your spot.
