Biography
From a young age, Aoi Kaigo was fascinated with Western films, specifically ones starring Clint Eastwood. He loved watching Clint dispense with the bad guys. It wasn't just the machismo. It was the aesthetic. It was the guns. It was the innate sense of justice, which Aoi shared. In his teens, he and his friends started a club where they practiced marksmanship, said cowboy stuff, and drank bourbon whiskey. Needless to say, it was a top secret club, and overtime, Aoi became known as quite the marksman. The only thing he loved as much as shooting and westerns was professional wrestling, which he approached with equal fervor. Now, debuting in AWS, he gets to combine all of his passions as Gunslinger Kaigo. Despite his brash personality, Gunslinger Kaigo is just, a fact marked by his famed white cowboy hat -- the international sign in western movies for the good guy.

| Entrance Description | Suddenly the lights dim, and then, a spotlight shines at the top of the entrance ramp. The iconic opening of Ecstacy of Gold hits the speakers and the fans roar, waiting patiently, waiting almost a full minute before the beat drops... ...and Gunslinger Kaigo steps directly into the still spotlight. He stands for a moment, soaks in the fans' collective uproar, until he takes his two fingers, sleeved together, makes a gun shape, points it at the ring, and screams a banshee like scream. Then he 'shoots' the gun. "BANG!" That was the audience. Not just him. Gunslinger Kaigo storms the ring, his duster trailing behind him as he climbs onto the apron, turns towards the crowd, and points those gun-shaped fingers high. He empties the chamber. "BANG! BANG! BANG! BANG! BANG!" Then he whips through the middle of the ropes and into the ring. He removes his trademarked white hat and duster, placing them in his corner, and awaits the ring of that bell. |
