Character Biography: A lot of wrestlers don’t come from the lives that Jack Duffy had. He grew up rich as his dad was a prominent sports agent in Florida and his mom was a banker and Jack and his older brother grew up in luxury and were able to chase what interests he had. And growing up Jack’s interest was professional wrestling. Watching NXT in its early days in Full Sail, as well as some local promotions in Florida. And while her older brother phased out of it in his teen years Jack dived deeper in it. He bought more merch, read more wrestling news, wrestled in middle school, high school, and even college. Winning state and national titles in both. But the endgame was never the Olympics or mixed martial arts. It was professional wrestling! As Jack believed in order to be a great pro wrestler you needed to have at least a strong amateur wrestling background. Citing Kurt Angle, Chad Gable, and Nick Nemeth as his biggest influences. His parents didn’t like his pro wrestling endeavors but his older brother let Jack stay with him during his pure indy wrestling days as he was old enough to access the trust fund. Which was good as his indy dates grew in size, frequency, and scope. That was when AWS picked him up. He’s been a Lunatic ever since.

His ring name is a blend of his first name and “Ocean” coming from Danny Ocean from the “Ocean’s Eleven” movies.
