Biography: To understand Kaito it would help if you understood his family life. His father’s side is full of actors, going back to the first Godzilla movie. His mother’s side is full of athletes, going back to the 1952 Olympic Games in Helsinki. Combine that with his cousins and siblings being involved in Tokusatsu TV shows like Kamen Rider and Super Sentai and major stars in baseball, soccer, and some olympic sports. You might wonder how in the hell did Kaito even consider a pro wrestling career? It’s simple. Because he wanted to make his own legacy but without staying away from the spotlight of show business.
Kaito became a pro wrestler at age 16 and he never looked back. Hailed as a “prodigy” he earned high marks by Japanese wrestling officials and fans alike. Going from young lion to rising star in the span of two years. By his 3rd year in the business his name was mentioned with some of Japan’s most prominent wrestlers stars at the time but he never spent anything more than a month in the United States for an event or tournament here and there and it would stay that way.
At least until the Asylum Wrestling Society came calling and paid big money for his talents recently. Luckily for the Kaito was froggy enough to try his mettle in an American wrestling promotion to branch out after being one of Japan’s brightest stars.
His gimmick is that of a bubbly, dangerous, and cocky wrestler with swagger for days. Think Shinsuke Nakamura in his first couple of years in WWE but with a better microphone presence.
