• “The girl who walked out of the earth.”

She was not abandoned —she simply left the ground,and Kurokumo left with her, disguised.

They became inseparable.

Koharu grew up learning to interpret:

These were Kurokumo’s “words.”

The spider yokai never harmed her.Never raised a limb against her.She was its “chosen.”

When she turned 20,Kurokumo sensed the violence of AWS and followed it like a scent.
