Celebration and Explosives!
Act 1: Repeat Customers
The scene opens on the beautiful Texas countryside. The sun was high in the sky, as a light breeze moved along the vast fields that stretched as far as the eye could see. The camera moves along the long stretch of road that soon gives way to a vast ranch. A red barn sat near the back of the ranch while cows grazed in the fields. The ranch house itself was large with a wrap around porch, with fans lining the ceiling throughout. The camera moves along the house and we soon see a inground pool where we see Sarah, Avery, and Johnny sitting around the pool while the kids played in shallower section that seemed to be cut off from the main pool. The tag titles hang over the back of a chair, and glistened in the late afternoon sun. Sarah was dressed in a pair of Daisy Duke shorts and a american flag bikini top while Avery was dressed in a light colored t-shirt and a pair of shorts that were cut offs. A few beer bottles sat in the middle of the table, while three others no sat open and sweating from the heat
Avery: This has been nice. Just relaxing and taking it all in.
Sarah: Sure has. The kids seem to be enjoying themselves.
Johnny: That they are. Thanks for having us out here Sarah.
Sarah: It's my pleasure. It's the perfect weekend and after our win I think it's time for a celebration.
Avery: I couldn't agree more.
Sarah: Why don't we celebrate the 250 here? I mean I have everything we need... Well almost everything.
Avery: What's missing?
Sarah: Fireworks. I mean most of the places around here are all sold out.
Johnny: It's alright, I know a guy. I'll go and make a call.
Avery: Alright.
Avery's and Sarah's phones go off. Avery looks down as does Sarah.
Sarah: Well, look there we have another match.
Avery: Yeah we do. But did you see who it's against?
Sarah: Yeah I did. Hard Mode, again?
Avery: And Center of Attention...
Sarah: Didn't face off against them before?
Avery: I think so. But then again I can't remember. The only ones that stand out in mind is the Schooner Twins... We beat them twice.
Sarah: Yeah, but Hard Mode beat us the last time we faced them.
Avery: True, but we can't let it happen this time around.
Sarah: Damn right. We have the tag titles and we're not giving them up that easy.
Avery: We've worked hard to keep our titles and we're not going to lose them now.
Sarah nods as Gracie and JJ run up to their mother.
Gracie: Can we have a snack aunt Sarah?
Sarah: Isn't that sweet? Sure sweet heart. There's some sweets on the table inside. Help yourselves.
Gracie: Thank you. Come on JJ.
Avery smiles and shakes her head.
Avery: Thank you for being good to the kids.
Sarah: You're welcome. I mean I never wnated kids, but if I can spoil them somehow I will. I always figured Johnny would settle down with someone, and when he did I would spoil his kids.
Avery: That's sweet.
Johnny soon comes back to the table and sits down with them once again.
Johnny: My guy is on the way. It'll be a while but they'll be here.
Sarah: Damn where they coming from?
Johnny: Georgia...
Avery and Sarah look at each other and sigh as the scene fades to black.
Act 2: Thoughs
Voice Over: You can't calcuate outcomes, it's a game of chance.
The scene reopens on smoke rolling into frame. The smell of a smoker filled the air, as we see Avery and Sarah getting everything ready for a celebration. Sarah moves to the smoker and opens it, as smoke billows out. On a rack sits a massive brisket, that sizzles as she pours the juice over it. She smiles as Avery steps behind her.
Avery: That looks amazing.
Sarah: I know. It still has another hour left on it.
Avery: By then everything else will be ready.
Sarah: Speaking of ready, are we ready for our match?
Avery: Of course we are, but the question is our opponents?
Sarah: They claim that they are, but I don't think they realize what they are in for. I mean Hard Mode think they can anaylze each of us, but I don't think they understand how matches work.
Avery: I think you might be right. You can never tell how a match will go, it all comes down to what team wants it more, and what moves are done. If someone can lock a submission in and hold it. It's not calcuations, it's luck, and I have abundance.
Sarah: It takes luck, but it also takes skill, which we have. But we know that both you and Center of Attention have the skill, but its just not going to be the four of us, no, it's going to be the six of us and only two can walk away, and we're not going to lose our titles not that easy.
Sarah smiles as she walks along the path that lead back toward the front of the house.
Avery: Desiree, Olympia you two have faced off against some big names as well, but you have yet to really prove yourselves to anyone. You can step into the ring against other teams and win, but you're going to have some issues with us. I think we have faced off before but I can't remember. I'm not trying to be mean, but you two are not that impressive. You have heart, and you don't carry yourselves like you're better than anyone else and I can respect that. I think that's why I don't have any real issues with either of you.
Sarah: You two are not snobs like the Schooner twins, and I can respect that. However you are French... I can forgive that. I know you two will give us a fight if nothing else and will do your damnest but its not going to be enough. Avery and I will fight to keep what is ours in the end.
Sarah whistles as two black and white border collies run toward her. Their tails wag as they approach and she pets them as they follow behind her and Avery.
Avery: Hard Mode... We've faced off before, and you got the upper hand, but not this time.
Sarah: She's right, we were having a bad go of it a couple of weeks ago but as you can see things have changed and once again we got our wins.
Avery: I know that you two are tyring to figure out how to learn faster than what you can experience but I don't think you're going to be able to. Our match is coming sooner than you like, and we will be ready to face you. Sarah and I have learned our lesson when we faced you last.
Sarah: That we did. We went back and studied old matches that you were in, and there are a lot of spots that you need to fix. We know where to strike and how much it's going to take to win this match. I don't hold any grudges against either one of you. You have actually shown respect to us, and we will do the same. I like opponents like you, and I know that you two will do whatever it takes to win, but I'm afriad that it's not going to be enough to get what we have. You two need to train a little more, and keep doing what you're doing, just to get to where we are.
Avery: Olympia, Desiree, Riley, and Mia I know that you are going to come at us with everything that you have learned and used in every match before us, and we will come at all of you with everything that we have learned over the last few years of our lives. We have both been in your shoes and worked our way to the top in our own right. We're not going to underestimate any of you, I mean that would be stupid of us to do, if we did. Sarah and I will give you a chance and I know that you'll take it but will it be enough to stop us?
Sarah: You are right about one thing Mia... It takes just three seconds... And at the end of that three seconds, Avery and I will walk away with our titles once again. It doesn't matter how much time you take to study, it all comes down to who can last those three seconds in the end. You can try to stop us, but we all know what's going to happen in the end, and there isn't that much you can do to stop us. Bring everything that you have and give it your best. We'll see you soon ladies.
The sound of a truck coming up the long stretch of driveway soon breaks the silence. The dogs start barking as we see a monster truck appears. It soon stops and Ex hops down with Aries in his arms.
Ex: Hey guys.
Johnny: Hey there big man. Did you bring 'em?
Ex: Hell ya I did. Necra should be here soon. She's got the rest.
Sarah: There's more?
Avery: That doesn't surprise me...
Sarah: Today is going to be a good day.
Avery: And the start of next week will be even better.
Sarah just smiles and nods as they start to unload the truck as the scene fades to black.
