Let's Do this

[The scene opens inside of The Crow’s Nest, as we see we are inside of a hallway, a concrete wall that has the AWS banner mounted on it.  A few seconds later, we see TJ Alexander, stepping in view, we see TJ dressed in blue jeans, a black polo shirt, and a gold chain around his neck]

“It was hard to swallow what happened on Blackout #1 last week, on its debut for AWS, and in the short cut to the top tournament, I was up against someone stranger, I was up against a relatively unknown and I was underestimating him. I took one look at him and thought I was better, I thought my career thus far, I thought that my skills and I thought that my verbal assassination would be enough to striker my opponent down, but this stranger, this Gunslinger, this cowboy, Kaigo, got the better of me, he used his mite, he used his upper body strength, and he used his excitement to join AWS overall, to make me think less of him from the start. His cowboy look was most definitely a distraction, that got the better of me, but once that bell rung, I saw a different person.”

[TJ pauses]

“That person came out swingin, and for that, I respect him more, that he got the pin over me. He broke my body, he put me through the table, and I got back up, but in the end, he did beat me, like I said bruv, it was a hard pill to swallow that defeat, but as me being me, I took it and gulped it down. I looked myself in the mirror, and I shake it off, in this business, defeats happen, moment’s like that happen, anyone can beat anyone on that night, and on that night, Gunslinger, was “The Man”."

[TJ shifts his attention]

“But now I need to refocus, shift into the gear I know I can, turn everything from negative into good, and from the darkness, from the shadows, rise again, and rise into what I know I can be, rise to the top of this tournament, and now I enter a fatal four way for Blackout #2. At Blackout I am up against AJ Flare, Hector Venegas, and Matt Goddard. I am truly up against it, more so than against Gunslinger, that’s for sure.”

[TJ tilts his head to the left as he speaks]

“Matt Goddard I suppose congratulations are in order, you won you’re first match last time on Blackout, on the very first show, winning your first match, anywhere is important, but also winning it on a brand new show for AWS, will set you up nicely for confidence, I am sure. But now the real journey begins for you, you see Matt, the little I know from you is that you’ve got all the tools in your arsenal through your training with Center of Attention, having them, and having Xander Croft as mentors and trainers, will certainly build your talent and skills and make them sharp in the ring, no doubt bruv, especially Xander Croft, but with all that, and having one win under your belt, doesn’t mean that you’ll stick at it.”

[TJ smirks]

“It doesn’t mean that you have the lasting for this business, for this life, it doesn’t mean that you have the stomach, that you have the grit and steel, to go the distance, like Xander Croft has or more so like I have. You haven’t got the miles on your shoes enough to even warrant being a future great, or even the winner of this shortcut to the top tournament, Matt, everything you have been taught, everything you have learned, I am gonna shatter into pieces bruv.”

[TJ pauses]

“Matt you claim you don’t back down from a fight, and neither do I, and bruv, we are gonna fight, But we can also put on a show, because I wanna see how much learning you’ve got under Center of Attention and Xander Croft, I wanna see how you can go, when pushed to the absolute limit, I wanna see if you can wrestle me, hold for hold, pound for pound, because I know, you can’t. I know I will dig deeper than I’ve ever dig deep before, to get a win in this tournament to get this win in this fatal four way, Matt Goddard, I hope you did enjoy that win last week bruv, because you won’t this week.”

[TJ grins]

“A lot of hype about you Matt and with everything you can claim, you won’t claim a win over me not this fellow brit, not “The Best brit In the Business” and certainly not against “The Game Changer” bruv.”

[TJ directs his attention again]

“AJ Flare you and I have history, we’ve had countless matches, some for gold, some just for bragging rights, but guess what, out of them all, I’ve got more wins over you, than you have over me, and AJ, that will stay the same, that will keep the balance in my favour, this will be no different. You see AJ, I know your talent in the ring, I know your skills in the ring, and I know them like I know you, like the back of my hand, and I know what limits you can push yourself, and what your weaknesses are. AJ those weaknesses I am going to exploit, I am gonna tear them wide open, and I am gonna slice them up, you know this to be true.”

[TJ takes a deep breath]

“You know how far I will go AJ, you know what I am capable of; don’t take my loss last week as anything but a blip, know that I will climb back up, know that I will push you down, sub-due you, and out-class you. AJ Flare this tournament is for veterans and the future, this tournament, is for the past, present and the future, and right now, AJ you’re almost killin’ time on your career. How much have you got left? I see that AWS future is in good hands, and AJ Flare, there not yours.”

[TJ switches attention for one last time]

“Hector Venegas don’t think I have missed you out bruv, last week on Blackout ‘1 I took my eyes off the prize and underestimated The Gunslinger Kaigo, this time, I will not with you. I don’t know much about you, but if you’re signed with AWS, you’ve got to bring something. Whatever you have shown to be signed with AWS, I am gonna flatline it, I am gonna pull the trigger and shoot it back down. Hector Venegas don’t show up bruv, I mean it.”
