Ready To Clash

[The scene opens up to a private gym, the type of gym that only exclusive clientele are able to gain membership to. All of the machines appear to be the newest models, perfectly cleaned and well-maintained. There’s hardly any clutter or mess at all as it seems that the staff at this particular establishment keeps the place spotless. TJ Alexander is seen sitting on the edge of a weight lifting machine, dressed in a pair of black shorts, and comfortable Nike sneakers]

“So here we are, days away now from Clash At The Beach where I am in a six-pack lunatic lottery elimination match where each opponent will need o grab a briefcase, claim it, and then whatever that’s in that briefcase is the prize for that opponent, all briefcases are random, and now I am determined to be the guy that get’s the better briefcase, but it’s random, so anything could be in them.”

[TJ tenses his muscles as he sits on the weight lifting bench]

“My opponents are all too familiar for me too, AJ Flare, Ace Sky, Mike Dimtar and Matt Goddard, and last Hector Venegas. All of which will try their hardest to get a briefcase, in this scramble type match, ANYTHING can happen. Am I worried, am I concerned, am I excited, of course I am, because it could be any prize in the world, or it could be the worst thing in the world in those briefcases. But I ain’t me if I am not FIGHTING’ my way through it all. If I am not climbing up those ladders and making a name for myself, I am not me if I am not FIGHTIN’.”

[TJ sits there still on the edge of the weight lifting bench]

“AJ Flare here we are again bruv, it doesn’t matter the situation, it seems that we are going to always be in and around each other, I do respect you AJ, but I see you are too hanging on this business like a bad smell, you lace up your boots like me each and every week, but the fact of the matter is AJ, what do you provide, as much as you have the skills like me AJ, as much as you think that you can keep up with the speed, with the agility, with the chaotic chaos that I bring, I know that I am also dealing with a man that is in his forties, that alone in this business should be enough to quit, you should have quit a long time ago AJ.”

[TJ sits smirking on the edge of the weight lifting bench]

“AJ I know you still think you are a young man, but you are not, a right now the only young man in this match is me, and that’s bruv is real talk. AJ real talk bruv, I hope that the briefcase you get, if any, is a pink slip, that retires you, because no matter how many times, I’ve tried, I cannot seem to instil that fact that you should hang up the boots, but I hope you find yourself into a position where you can’t come back from, while me, while I climb up the ladders, retrieve the better briefcase.”

[TJ pauses]

“Matt Goddard you are different, you are not just another small guy, you bring a brawling attitude, with technical prowess of your own, you do not fly in the air like the rest of us, you stay grounded, you stay on your feet most of the time, and Matt, I’ve learned a great deal with that, I’ve learned how to get under your skin, I’ve learned to keep you grounded, and I know that you will find it harder than most to climb up those ladders. You Matt haven’t got the speed as much as the rest of us, you Matt, even though you are of similar size, you are going to be out of your comfort zone, that you will not be able to change the flow, while flip the switch, and while I make you make a mistake, and Matt, I am real good at getting under people’s skin bruv, real talk.”

[TJ sits there still on the edge of the weight lifting bench]

“It’s gonna be a sweet sorrow knowing that I was faster, that I was more cunning and that I was more on point than you.”

[TJ still perched on the edge of that weight lifting bench]

“Mike Dimtar you’re in the same situation as AJ Flare, but with AJ Flare, I respect him, with you Mike, I don’t respect you. I find that you are a snake in the grass and that’ you have been robbing the fans of his business off, you’re wormed your way into championship matches and you’ve manipulated those chances, I find you loathsome in every way, and Mike, knowing this will be an eliminator lottery, make’s it better, because I already know my fate, I know no matter what briefcase I get, I know that I am due some good, while you have not EARNED this, not at all. In fact I will say that you’ve not earned half of your career, but here you are, still going. Mike I am gonna put an end to you, and this will be “Game Over” bruv.”

[Scene ends]
