Statement To Make
[The scene opens up inside of a hallway of The Crow’s Nest in Las Vegas, Nevada. As it’s got a cold eerie feeling, a few seconds later we see TJ Alexander, walking on screen. Dressed in a black Nike tracksuit, with the hood of the Hoodie over his head, and a gold chain hanging from around his neck]
“By my reckoning there’s only been four matches between us JohnZo, and if I recall, you had it won, you had me beat, I took your debut in a company that wasn’t AWS, for granted, only saw the age as a factor and assumed I could put it to bed quickly, considering I was your first match back. But you proved yourself to be still mentally and physically in the game, no pun intended, but bruv, a lot of things have happened since, not just in AWS, but wherever we have been, we have had our journey’s.”
[TJ smirks]
“But now it seems we are set to meet in the ring, for the second time, and this time, bruv, this time I am putting this to bed, because what has always been playing with my mind, was the fact that even though you did beat me, you really shouldn’t have. You really shouldn’t have even come close to beating me. But I have learned from my mistakes, I’ve evolved, and now I am better than I was yesterday, and yesterday is right in the past, but you and I, are just a few days away from going head-to-head again, and JohnZo, I know that you like to hide yourself, shroud yourself into darkness JohnZo, but in our match, I will shine the brightest light possible on you and show you as what you really are, a fraud.”
[TJ pauses]
“Seismic shifts are happening in AWS with the brand drafts, with every shuffling from brand to brand, to championship gold moving from brand to brand, a lot of things are going on, but in AWS we wouldn’t be in an Asylum if we weren’t a little bit insane, but you JohnZo believe that you are insane, a whole lot and it’s gonna be fun to expose that and make a damn statement doing so.”
[TJ grins]
“But JohnZo while I expose you to the light and show the world that you are a fraud dressed in all black, that statement that I am gonna make isn’t just by beating you and having the balance sway in my direction, it’s going to be putting everyone on the roster, and especially on the Ward show that I am not going anywhere, that I am digging my feet firmly grounded in the history of AWS, and I am coming for every champion in sight bruv.”
[TJ smiles]
“JohnZo I know you’ll walk into Monday night Ward with some dark message, some riddle, that only you will get, but let’s make it clear, whatever you say, it is not going to faze me, whatever you say won’t even reach my ears because I am already draining the noise that will come outta yourself, I am dead focus on my goal, and nothing more. JohnZo from the last time we met, I saw how you were, I saw how you avoided the noise from the crowd, how you blocked them out, how they the fans, were even too noisy for you, that you get distracted easily by the fans, and that is going to be an opening I can use against you.”
[TJ grins]
“It’s actually kinda funny that you even returned to the business if that’s the case that the noise from the fans get’s you easily distracted, because now, I am gonna make sure that not only are the fans on their feet, but chanting my name...SAY MY NAME. The fans know it, and at Ward it will be deafening towards you, the blood from your ears will be dripping down and out so much that it will knock you off balance, because the way I can give the crowds a voice, watching me be ME is something extraordinary, and watching you fall on your knees bruv it’s gonna be like Christmas come early.”
[TJ smirks]
“JohnZo everything I have seen from you since our first meeting, is that you’re looking for the control, that you stake your feet planted in the ring and control from pillar to post, but here’s the thing JohnZo, I’m uncontrollable, I’m fast, I’m faster than lightening and you can’t catch lightening, I’m especially too fast for you, and I won’t give you the chance or even the satisfaction of getting me grounded, keeping me from going aerial assault, and giving the fans what they want too, me being truly “The Game Changer”.”
[TJ pauses]
“JohnZo this match is not a hardcore match that you would have the advantage of, this is a gold rush tournament match, where when I win, I’ll carry on through the tournament and get myself further to gold, and JohnZo I need this more than you, JohnZo you are more comfortable in hardcore matches, but this match will be controlled by me, and my speed, not you, and your hardcore tendencies, but my speed will control this match in favour, I will use my foot work to beat you, and I will target everything I can see.”
[TJ pauses]
“JohnZo this will be the last time for the longest time that we’ll meet in the ring, and I am making it my mission to be able to get rid of you, I am gonna make a statement in this match, and believe me bruv, my words are true.”
