Strange Bedfellows

[The scene opens up in pitch black, as a light flickers for a few seconds, and then suddenly stays on, as we appear to be in a bathroom, where a sink is, and a walk-in shower. A few seconds later the door swings open, and in walks TJ Alexander, wrapped around him is a long towel around his waist, and nothing else on, as he stands in front of the sink, with a mirror above it,

Here we are again another week has rolled around and we are back on Monday night Ward, and this time, I am to team up in a strange bedfellows match, where my partner is completely unknown, or at least very little is known, my partner is Hector Venegas, and we are teaming up against Ethan Murphy and Orphius Marius and let’s be honest, it seems not so much strange bedfellows than to “Screw” TJ Alexander again because if this was a match that both teams were strange bedfellows, then both teams would completely in the dark, but right now, I see it’s only me, that’s handcuffed to a partner who has not yet shown what he is capable of.”

[TJ Cracks his knuckles]

“So I am handcuffed to a partner that I do not wish to be with, and against two real threats, Ethan Murphy and Orphius Marius, both of which have already spent time together as a tag team, so this strange bedfellows match, doesn’t really lived up to the name, it shows though that once again I am being screwed over, but that’s fine, I’ll deal with it, I’ll deal with the fact that my partner may or may not show  up, and I’ll deal with the fact that this may end up being a handicap match anyway, I will deal with it.”

[TJ frowns]

“Ethan Murphy  I know you very well, we’ve been in the ring many times, and almost all of them, I’ll admit, you got the better of me, but slightly, it has never been a difference in measures between us, it has only been through literally seconds that dictated our history, and right now, I see you across the ring as another threat, I know how dangerous you are, I know why you have held the top tier championships that AWS has to offer, and I know how crisp you are inside the ring, with almost the same offense as me, you and I have had many matches that could easily be “One of the best” in our generation, but now we team up, against each other, with “So-Called” random partners, and like I know you Ethan, you should know me.”

[TJ tilts his head back]

“Ethan you should know me that I am not ne to back down from a fight bruv, you should know that I am always against the odds, and you should know never to underestimate me, no matter what situation I am in, I am going to FIGHRT my way through, and you should know Ethan that with respect to your skills, and how crisp you are inside the ring, MY skills are as just the same as yours, you should know that I am “The Game Changer” for a reason, and I will change the game to favour me, I will flip the switch and the balance will sway my way, and Ethan, win or lose I’ll show the heart and desire that I always do bruv, you should know that.”

[TJ pauses]

“Ethan you need to know that I maybe with a partner that I don’t want to be with, but that won’t stop me from taking control and being the best version of me, I won’t be having Hector Venegas stop me from fighting against the odds, and I will not DIE.”

[TJ pauses as he directs his attention]

“Orphius Marius after all our time here in AWS, from my understanding, this is our first meet in the ring, it’s a shame that it’s in a tag team match, because I would like to face off against you in singles action, and let’s see who measures up then, but right now, I need to focus, I NEED to be the most determined I’ve ever need to be because this match, I am truly up against the odds. I am not gonna down-play your skills or your style Orphius, but don’t underestimate me either, we are completely opposite of each other, from skills in the ring to size and physical appearance.”

[TJ pauses as he takes a deep breath]

“You are heavier than me, more upper body strength, and heavier legs, which also means you’re slower in speed, which mean’s what power manoeuvre you have in your arsenal, I will execute speed and agility, I will use my striking ability to aim for your knees, and watch them give, I will watch as you try and keep up with my speed, and I will watch as you stumble in your movement. Orphius for once in your career you are not going to be the most confident in the ring, I will push my own limits, and I will test yours, and Orphius I will break those limits.”

[TJ pauses]

“You target your opponents to slow their movement down in your favour Orphius, but you’ve never been up against someone like me, someone with the speed like me, a moving target like me has never been in front of you before, and you will be unable to hit this moving target bruv, believe in that.”

[TJ smirks]

“Boys I know I will be up against the odds, but know that I am never down and out, and I will NEVIER DIE.”
