The fearless Blaze
The scene opened uniquely for Gabriel and Antoine LeClair; The Bayou Blaze. In a blank, black, area with nothing but intimate lighting and the sound of their footsteps as the appeared on screen. Gabriel on the left, Antoine on the right, walking into view with their street clothes on. Antoine wearing a New Orleans Saints jersey, Gabriel wearing a Pelicans one. Both home variants before looking calmly, intently at the camera like they had a lot to say. Which made sense given their situation. But how would they start this off? Let's find out…
Antoine LeClair: Champions Carnival. At a time in this country where people go on big celebrations, trips, and parties to celebrate the summer we have our own version of that here in the Asylum Wrestling Society. But instead of beer and barbecue we got blood and weapons. No picnic tables and chairs to sit down in. Just folding chairs and tables to put people through.
Gabriel LeClair: And if you’re into doing summer repairs and shit that means you gotta use a ladder for ay! We’ll be using those ladders too but we ain’t gonna be climbing for nothin’ but the AWS Undisputed Tag Team Championships over here. At the top where we oughta be!
Antoine LeClair: Now hold on Gabe, remember this is the AWS. You earn your keep around here. We’re in this tables, ladders,and chairs match because we earned that right because we’ve fought hard to earn a chance to be tag team champions. You know this.
Gabriel LeClair: I do. And these people watchin they know it too dawg. You don’t face not one, not two, but three teams in this chaotic-ass match for nothin. But we gotta put World Elite, Tongan Terror Squad, and the West Texas Hangmen on they backs. Looking up at us leaving Champions Carnival with tag team gold!
And as the brothers said this a small array of flames opened up behind them. Like a wall of fire was about to be lit. This was also in between footage of Bayou Blaze and their opponents. Action clips, the teams posing, and of course violent moments of bodies going through tables and getting hit by chairs and falling off of, onto, and getting hurt between ladders. Selling the “Tables Ladders and Chairs” match with dramatic, bombastic, music until it slowed hard so the Bayou Blaze could speak once more.
Gabriel LeClair: I mean on the real I see who we got in front of us. World Elite; Kofi and AJ yeah they got our number. We ain’t beat them yet, they beat us for now, but check what I said Twan’ and that’s “yet” and “for now.” We ain’t even got to pin them to get our revenge. Just taking those titles down is enough! To finally put those fools where they belong, beneath us as champs!
Antoine LeClair: YHell yeah but don’t forget we got more than one team to show up at Champions Carnival. World Elite’s just one but I ain’t sleepin on the Latu boys; The Tongan Terror Squad. Hey Apollo, Malachi, welcome to the show y’all. This is the biggest match of your time here in Asylum and from one team of badass, handsome-ass brothers to another I know you two are gonna put up a damn good fight and we ain’t slippin’ on y’all. We know you Island boys are built different
Gabriel LeClair: But so are we. We got no fear in our veins. We don’t fear heights, we don’t fear steel, so hit us hard and we’ll hit harder. And if you’re bigger than us we’ll break your asses down bit by bit. No tags needed. And that goes double for you country-ass West Texas Hangmen. Buck Rawlins & Wade Mercer. The ink on your contracts just got dry and you think y’all are ready for this? Naaaaahhhh bruh. This is the big time and we finna burn all of y’all alive at Champions Carnival!
Then even more flames appeared behind them. Lighting up in an organized pattern as if they were spelling something as the match graphic appeared along with a highlight reel of Antoine and Gabriel. Selling the fact that the Bayou Blaze were coming into this TLC match with no fear and plenty of bravado.
Antoine LeClair: So at Champions Carnival we will be the ones celebrating at the end of it as we do the one thing thing that we’ve done since we were teenagers and that’s climb the ladder of success and become your AWS Undisputed Tag Team Champions.
Gabriel LeClair: Don’t meet us there in Las Vegas, beat us there. Kinda like how we’re gonna beat World Elite, the Tongan Terror Squad and the West Texas Hangmen. Laissez les bons temps rouler!
Then behind them all of the fires lit up to spell “YOUR FUTURE TAG TEAM CHAMPS” in fire. Signalizing the very end of the promo and the last time that people will see the Bayou Blaze before their match…and hopefully their eventual victory.
