You're in jeopardy with Mason

Ever since the disappointing, losing, performance of the Centre Of Attention in WrestleVersary. As in the entire stable suffering losses that night all four members decided to take a break from the clubhouse and do things in their respective hometowns. The aura wasn’t there at the moment. Xander went back home to London to train there with his old comrades in the UK, Olympia did the same in Toronto while reconnecting with her family, Desiree did the same on a trip back to Quebec City. But what about Mason Hurst? He was in that trios match against the Family Of The Sinister One for the Asylum Wrestling Society trios tag titles that ended up with a Centre Of Attention loss at WrestleVersary. Surely Mason had his own way of relaxing and unwinding right?

Well if not anything else Mason was the only one in his team who was married. He had a stunningly sexy Aussie blonde wife at home to take his mind off of wrestling. As well as a loving son and daughter to spend time with down in Canberra, Australia to help him unwind. And of course he loved going to the beach or taking a brief trip through the outback. The man had options of how he could unwind. But his mind never truly left the ring. He was wondering how he could squeeze in workout and film study through family time. Especially since while he was on that little break he got a match update. “Mike Dimter © vs. Il Monstro Oscuro vs. Mason Hurst. Triple Jeopardy. AWS Convergence Championship on the line” was what it read on his phone.

Mason knew he could no longer underestimate II Monstro Oscuro. The heavy hitter of the Family Of Sinister One considering the loss at WrestleVersary. All it took was one victory over him to officially put an opponent on his watchlist and with this match having title gold on the line Mason had every reason to take Monstro seriously and every reason to kick his ass and get revenge. This shit was personal and he could get some nice payback for WrestleVersary and remind people just who was the dominant monster in the Asylum Wrestling Society

And as for Mike Dimter things were different. No personal drama or prior backstory between him and Mason. It was just business between them. However Mike Dimter did have that big, shiny, Convergence Championship that was on the line while coming in with his classic badass, one versus all swagger that made him hit harder. move faster, and do shit you won't forget at the end of the night. His ruthlessness was to be respected as he had a never-say-die attitude with damn good resilience. You had to damn near kill Mike just to get a victory!

Hell to be honest Mason felt like an underdog the moment he saw the card posting. Coming off of a big loss just to face a champion in another title match. Which was a rare case for him given how big he was, what team he was a part of, and how he carried himself. It was one of the few times in his wrestling career where his swagger, his self-confidence wasn’t high as hell. Luckily a promo can help clear his mind.
*****************************
Mason Hurst was a dangerous man who had no problem with dangerous environments. Situations that would terrify the average person. And sure being a 6 '8, 316 pound brick shithouse meant that not a lot of people would mess with you unless they are ready for pain but what about places where wild animals roamed? So this particular scene didn’t take place in the Centre Of Attention clubhouse or even an AWS wrestling ring but the Australian outback! Mason was wearing a brown bomber jacket, white shirt, and blue jeans with boots while he stood by his jeep with flattering sunlight focusing on him and his black sunglasses with the camera catching it all. Ready to see what the Australian powerhouse would say.

Mason Hurst: G’day. I bet I got your attention now just based on where I’m at. You know…when I was a tough kid growing up, old enough to get my first smoke, drink my first stubbie, I would come to the Australian outback and pick fights with wild animals. True story. Fight kangaroos, cassowaries, bare-handed. Knocking them out cold just for videos with my dumbass friends for fun. The things I did before joining the Asylum Wrestling Society. Stupid eh? But it showed that I was built different inside and out. I was putting my body on the line before I even became a wrestler to show I wasn’t afraid of doing dangerous things against things that could on paper at least kick my bleeding ass. It’s been a while, a long while, but I remember what it’s like to be the underdog. To have nothing to lose and everything to gain. Except now instead of internet views of the handsome musclebound bloke hitting wildlife in the face I’m fighting for money, I’m fighting Asylum Wrestling Society championship gold. That Convergence title is in my sights at Ward .

Mason had evidence to back up every word he said to show that he didn’t lie. From clips of him as a young adult punching animals in the face in the outback, to him coming to the AWS with his first matches and earning credibility,  to of course pictures of the Convergence title itself. Looking shiny and desirable to make it look like a big deal which it undeniably was…with Mike Dimter’s nameplate on it. Hopefully though for the moment as Mason planned on changing that when they did at Ward.

Mason Hurst: I’ll make this crystal clear If there is an AWS title that a man can get I want it. I want it and I will beat the piss out of any man in my way whether it be another contender or the champion directly. Especially if I have beef with my opponent or opponents. Either or. That’s why I want the Convergence title. It’s a hell of a prize and I don’t care if you’re a new monster on the block like my triple jeopardy opponent Monstro Oscuro or you’re a proven badass like Mike Dimter if you hold gold I want it. Why? I want more money and champs get that. Helps me feed me fam easier. And you know the Centre Of Attention could use the hardware. And it would justify all the arse I love to kick. Doubly so in this case considering who I’m fighting. Monstro yeah you got me good, real good at WrestleVersary. Forget my team for a moment YOU got me good at WrestleVersary. Putting me through that table and standing over me while you and your family members walked out with the trios titles. Yeah this isn’t the same thing but I’ll take whatever vengeance I can get on your head. Now let's talk about Mike Dimter. The current, reigning, and defending Convergence Champion. You’re hot news Mikey and I respect how you embrace how you have a target on your back. You got your family, fans, friends rooting you on to be the best damn champ you can be. Crikey I almost feel bad having to take the title from you. Almost! Because I never had a problem leaving a man broken in both mind, body, and spirit and when I enter that that ring at Ward I’m going to do the same to you in front of your friends, family, fans, anyone who dares to support you while I walk out with the Convergence title bruv!

Mason was on an absolute ROLL covering every needed base as he directly addressed his triple jeopardy opponents on AWS Ward! Firing shots at them all. Talking about what he was going to do to them, how much the Convergence title meant to him, his plans on dominance and revenge, while representing himself along with his families. The one with the wife he had, and his family of teammates in the Centre Of Attention. Both of which meant a lot to Mason. Fans got to see Mason and both of those families on screen to verify the depth of his words. Both of them would love to see him have gold as they were the only people Mason cared about aside from himself and would beat anyone into the hospital for them. Especially if championship gold was the prize at hand.

Mason Hurst: So at AWS Monday Night Ward. Crows Nest, Las Vegas it may be a Triple Jeopardy match but the only person who is in any real jeopardy is my opponents Mike Dimter and II Monstro Oscuro. Because my eyes are on that Convergence prize and it doesn’t matter if you’re a man, beast, monster badass there’s nobody that can stop me from getting whatever the (BEEP) I want. And I want that Convergence title and money, power, and attention that comes with it.

And with that note the Centre Of Attention eyeball logo appeared on screen over the setting Australian sign to put an official end to Mason’s promo.
